As Oprah is fond of saying: "If you don't want to be a doormat, get up off the floor". This woman clearly used you, although in reading through your whole story I can't figure out WHY she would ask to stay with you when you were never close friends. She is very self-absorbed and seemingly uncaring about other people's feelings, needs, etc. Did you know ahead of time that you would be shopping all day and running errands or did she lead you to believe that she was coming to visit with you? Sounds like she just used you to get all her errands done. She's rude and thoughtless but I don't think she did it with malice. I'm sure this is just how she's used to being treated by her family and friends and she thinks there's nothing wrong with it. Next time she calls, when you see her number on the display phone just don't answer it, And if she does get through and says she'll be coming through your city apologize to her that you're way overbooked for that day and maybe you'll see her on her next trip. You don't need to go to a therapist now - SHE does !
