Should I put my dog down or not?

My 10 year old half Chihuahua half Fox Terrier dog was diagnosed with a brain tumor 5 months ago in September. We've put her on medication which has semi-helped stop the seizures, but now she has gone blind in both eyes. Many people are telling me to just put her down. I just want what's best for my dog and want to stop her pain and suffering. I know she is going to die sooner or later since there really is no cure other that surgery for a brain tumor. I know putting her down is the most humane thing to do since she is suffering, but at the same time I feel like I'm just giving up on her (and she has NEVER given up on me!!)!! :'( I don't know what to do, should I wait it out and see if she can adjust to her recent blindness and live a relatively happy life (even if it is short), or should I just put her down?

Not sure but I think that the gliders make be more safe. Personally I think they are more comfortable, and since I'm a penny pincher I found a glider for about $100 and chose not to get an ottoman to save money. Well, now I kind of wish I had gotten the ottoman! The ones that glide are more expensive but probably very comfortable, but you may be able to use just a regular stationary one, if you like it.

Either there is NO PRAYER IN SCHOOL or all can pray in school. You can't have it both ways. By the way, the law states that they can't have prayers that are lead in school, that would do away with most of the above. All can pray quietly, they can't force you to stop unless you are noisy about it.

What plants are easy to grow inside?

I don't know the latin names or much about the plant itself other than that it's nearly impossible to go wrong with an air fern. They were very popular with apartment dwellers when I was a youth. I think they were even sold in a little shell with a magnet glued to the back so you could stick them on the refrigerator door. They don't need water or soil and little light. They were a big deal in say the seventies or early eighties. Also, what about outdoor container gardening? I, too, have a small apartment and only 2 small windows in the place (basement apartment). I purchased several generous containers (Big Lots and Walmart have good deals) and put herbs and some vegetables in those and they are my little patio garden. I'm sure the library would have a good selection of books for how to, etc. I bring my containers in for the winters which are fortunately short here as I am able to bring them outdoors in the nick of time as per sun deprivation...

I'm confused- Is he playing hard to get?

Okay, so there is this guy I really like, but I've only gotten to know him for like a week. I had to sit by him once on the bus because all the seats were full... I got to know him. Then, at the football I waved at him and said hi, but kept walking... then out of nowhere he ran up behind me and starting talking to me. Recently my finacee' purchased a dog for her daughter's b-day. The problem is I am allergic to dog hair and dandruff & I despise going to the doctor for anything. Her b-day was 7/25/08...on 7/21/08 she walks into my office (I work from home), and says "I've made the decision to get her a dog!!!)". Now she wanted one last year for her b-day (we've been together for three years) but her Mom said no because of my allergies. What gets me is I want to give the little girl (she just turned 13) everything also but this was a blatant slap in the face!!! Plus she was sneaky with the whole situation!!!! A small paragraph about Hamlet?

It's sort of like the Lion King. Hamlet's father has died two months ago and his mom has remarried; she married Hamle'ts uncle, Claudius. Claudius is now King although the crown should have gone to Hamlet. The ghost of Hamlet's father comes back and tells Hamlet that Claudius killed him and Hamlet needs to take revenge. Hamlet is a little fussy and wants to maek sure the ghost isn't a demon trying to kill him so he puts on a play resembling his father's death to see if Claudius's reaction gives away whether or not he did kill his brother. During this time, Hamlet's acting crazy to see how people react and make him seem like less of a threat. Well, during the play Hamlet sees that Claudius did in fact commit murder but he doesn't act yet. He goes to see his mother who Claudius asked to talk to Hamlet while Polonius, Claudius's friend hides and spies on them to see why Hamlet's acting so strangely. Polonius was hoping he was acting crazy because Hamlet was in love with his daughter Ophelia, who Polonius told to break it off with Hamlet. Well Hamlet kills Polonius, thinking it was the king spying. Hamlet is banished to England where Claudius has asked the King of England to kill him once he arrives. Laertes, Polonius's son, returns from France to avenge his father's death. Ophelia drowns herself. Hamlet sends them a letter saying he figured out Claudius planned on killing him so he caused the two men traveling with him to be killed instead and he has an adventure and returns. Then Cladius and Laertes plan on having Laertes challenge Hamlet to a duel and poisoning Laertes sword so Hamlet is killed. The king will also have poisoned wine to offer to Hamlet. In the duel, the swords get switched and they both get cut. They both die but before so Hamlet makes it known Claudius killed his dad, Hamlet's mom drinks the poison on accident and dies and Horatio, a friend of Hamlet is the only one left alive to explain the situation. In the end, the crown of Denmark will go on to prince Fortinbra who during the play had been trying to win back the land's Hamlet's father took from his country.

Its that simple and you would state that fact on your resume. Remember, always be honest on your resume, to be caught out in a lie can be devastating, but dont under sell yourself. If you need to, list the seperate tasks you performed while you managed the smoothie shop, include the fact that you have the ability to communicate in another language, especially if there is a large number of people in your area who speak your second language. Take the effort to edit and proof read everything you write, and dont use slang like "wanna". While slang may be appropriate for YA it isnt going to help you obtain the job you want. Good luck.

This woman clearly used you, although in reading through your whole story I can't figure out WHY she would ask to stay with you when you were never close friends. She is very self-absorbed and seemingly uncaring about other people's feelings, needs, etc. Did you know ahead of time that you would be shopping all day and running errands or did she lead you to believe that she was coming to visit with you? Sounds like she just used you to get all her errands done. She's rude and thoughtless but I don't think she did it with malice. Next time she calls, when you see her number on the display phone just don't answer it, And if she does get through and says she'll be coming through your city apologize to her that you're way overbooked for that day and maybe you'll see her on her next trip. So if you don't like their hats, why don't you just buy your own hat and take it with you anyway? Many of these stables charge you to hire their hats anyway, so you would save on the fees if you had your own hat. I do think you are missing the point here though. Anyone experience this in Fsc Cigarette?

Okay I don't know if it is the Fsc chemical because I started smoking around the time it was added. But what I have noticed is that when I smoke around a pack...and I masturbate or ual activity I almost always expierience my bleeding a little and irritation. I have never experienced this in my life and when I quite smoking for months at a time I don't have this problem and when I start back up again it imediatley comes back. So could this be Fsc? When was the first time you smoked? And did it taste bad? My first time was about a month ago, I'm turning 15 in a week. Are kids like a "marriage"? Would less ppl have kids if parents were more honest?

My, my. I must say that I kinda agree with you. I know so many couples that should never have had children. Mostly the ones that couldn't control their hormones in their younger years. It is refreshing to know that at least you are honest with your intentions. It really isn't necessary to have a child to complete your life or make you happy. If anything it is a deterrent to happiness. Having a child as you said prevents you from doing the things that you want to do--travel etc. Anyway I think it is religious motivated to have children anyway. Your life is not your own any more because you are responsible for another person or persons. not only yourself. No matter how you teach your kids they never seem to get out from under your wings. There is always something that they need help with. Money, watch "their" kids co-signing for some thing or another. It sure would be great if we were like the birds---push-em out of the nest and let them fly on their own & fend for themselves. I would have a small fortune today if I didn't have to support the kids after their left the nest. Yes, yes I think you are not being selfish by wanting to keep control of your life. Live it as "you" choose. As long as you are paying your own bills no one can criticize. Another thing too since when do the kids take care of you when you are old. I can tell you hundreds of stories from elderly folks who were abandoned by their children who want nothing to do with them. Of course there is "always" the exception to the rule. As soon as you become dependent on them they can't wait to put you in a home. I know this is harsh but I take care of elderly people and it brings tears to my eyes when I hear their stories. The child will be American citizen---and guess who will get custody of this child if you do not marry? The father of the child who is American--you will not get custody because you are not a legal resident, you just are here legally. The child will be American, the child's father is American, so he will automatically get custody----and so your best option is to get married. The green card will be expensive one way or the other, because you have to pay an application fee, physicals, more fees---I've heard that right now the application alone is 800 dollars. In order to get a resident card you have to have a sponsor---and not everyone can sponsor you because without being married you and the sponsor have to show that you can do something no one else in the U.S. can do for the sponsor--whereas if you get married, you'll be the wife and he becomes your sponsor on the paperwork. The fact that the child will be U.S. citizen does not help you either, because a child has to be 18 years or older to be permitted to sponsor another person...so I think marriage is really your best--and pretty much your only option. And who knows, things might just work out well.....good luck

I've known this guy since 3rd grade (now in 7th). He is ALWAYS really nice to me, and has never been mean in any way to me for as long as I can remember. Last year in 6th, he would sit next to me at lunch and just kind of stare at me and talk to the other people at the table, sometimes talking to me. Then he would go out of his way to steal my cookie. ^-^ About a year and a half ago, one of his friends had a bday party which I was invited to. I figured he would be there because the guy having the party was really close friends with him. So I went there and he was. After a while he got on his friends bike and started riding around the back yard and I was bored out of my mind so I started running and chasing him. When we got around to the driveway, we were alone. He slowed down but didn't stop on the bike and said something about my being big and asked about my bra size/what kind I was wearing O.o He never said anything about it again. A year ped and I invited him to a halloween party. It was a pool party...so 99% of it was spent in the water. He was the life of the party. :D He was riding on an inflatable whale and running people over with it. Then I guess he got affectionate and started hugging everyone (except the other boys). He hugged me last going "Awww. ^-^" This year I don't have any cles with him and we don't have lunch at the same time. I told him that I liked him and I gave a friend $15 to ask him if he liked me and she said that he said "Maybe." I pretty sure he likes me. Does he? What's wrong with my new HDTV if the HD picture doesn't stretch all the way across the screen? ?

I have a new Samsung HDTV 46 inch that works fine, pictures from any channel including HiDef and regular broadcast fit the screen to its edges. I just got a 26 inch HDTV and some tv shows fill the screen and while others do not. The installer said its non-high def shows that show at 4:3, but three are many 100% HD channels that have an 4:3 aspect ration instead of 16:9. Could it be the comcast converter box from Comcast since the working TV has a different converter box?

A growth of sorts in one of my horses eye :/?

A few months ago i bought a Haflinger, and i noticed when i was meeting him for the first time that he had some pink growth in the corner on the inside of his eye. I asked the lady about it and she said he had had it for years and that it was not a problem and did not effect his vision and it was just a "tag" as she put it. I was skeptical at first because i was worried that the eye was going to have to be removed or if he was going blind.. I had my vet look at it, and He said that it didn't seem to be something to be concerned about. After i took him home a few weeks later it seemed to get better. But still if he has had it for years why would it be getting better now all of a sudden? And its not like its contagious to my other horses and it doesn't seem to effect him and neither the lady or the vet seemed concerned so i wasn't to worried at first. But then i talked to the lady again and i dragged it out of her and she said that her vet said that it was probably cancer. I was furious, but my vet was convinced it was nothing to be concerned about and i trust him. But i wonder if anyone has seen or heard of something similar to this and what it is and if there was a kind of treatment that was used for it would be really helpful. And no its not moon blindness.I'm just curious if anyone has seen anything like this and what it was?I've been around and owned horses my entire life, but Ive never seen anything like this. Its quite odd looking and you can only see it when he looks to the side. Thanks!

My dentist was ill the day i was meant to have my appointment and as im petrified of dentists i didn't ring in to re-arrange....my fault i know =( gradually my tooth as broken apart and all i am left with is what is under the gums. My new dentist said will have to cut my gum to remove the rest of the tooth can i ask for them to use a general rather then a local anaesthetic? I have found mold deposits in my rental house! Can I break my lease?

I recently discovered some deposits of mold in my rental house. Yuck! There was a bunch of it behind my dresser and a lot in the corner of the bedroom closet, too. I've been able to clean up a lot of it, but it is fairly pervasive. It has stained the drywall and it's just plain disgusting! I've also had some wastewater back-wash problems in this same rental house (waste water that is supposed to be flowing away from the house some times flowes back into the house and spills into the basement. The landords are always prompt to fix it, but it happens every year). This is the last straw! Do you think I have grounds to break my lease?

I love to laugh. I have been blessed with a pretty amazingly funny family. My brother comes home from work with a new story for me everyday. Sometimes, his stories are just over the top HYSTERICALLY FUNNY. Ok, so I'm at work today and it slowed down. Then I just started remembering some of the funny things my brother said. I couldn't contain myself and I started laughing. I'm standing alone, mind you and there is no one around me but customers. At least if a co-worker was around me I could have played it off. Debt Consolidation?

Me and my boyfriend have just bought a house. The mortgage is gonnabe about 700 a month and he pays about 700 a month on all his debts which he aculated whilst he was at university. He only gets paid 1400 a month and we have one child and one on the way. Now, you may think buying a house was silly but....our mortagage advisor told us to get a mortgage and then consolidate his debts because consolidating them first would give him bad credit and we would then be unable to buy a property. Im just wondering whether debt consolidation is an easy process though and something which most people are accepted onto. Tiling Question?

Ok, I can get the old vinyl tiles up pretty easily. What is underneath is concrete in good condition and some dried up adhesive from the old vinyl tiles that were put down. I can sc the dried up glue away and clean up with no problem, but then what I have is concrete with what I'm guessing is just some of the old adhesive that has maybe "soaked" (for lack of a better term) into the concrete, kind of discoloring it a little. Is it ok to tile over this? I really don't know any other way, it's not like you can remove it. Any ideas?

Lump/Wart that is on St. Bernard's face, Help?

Recently we noticed what we thought was another wart (he has a couple black warts on his face) on my St. Bernard (who will be 6 in September). It has since begun to drain what we think is pus, the site smells and his hair was getting stuck in the drainage. He has no pain or irritation when you touch it. It looks like a wart or almost like a nipple that is red and draining pus. I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide to try to take the smell away and get it cleaned but the pus keeps coming out. It has what looks like a little hole in the middle (not very deep, like an indent) so i suspected a tick that embeded under the skin, we tried squeezing it but nothing is coming out. He scratched his face with his back leg after i cleaned it and caught it with his nail, it started to bleed a little but did not bother him, he let me clean it again. I have been reading up on it and it seems like wart and lumps like this are normal for older dogs, but this is infected and i am worried that it could be a tick which caused an infection. If anybody has any past experience with anything like this or knows what i could be dealing with please let me know asap. Thank you

Im just giving my honest opinion, and the facts. You can thumbs down if you want, but gaining weight back is just a fact. I would research on it. Plus if you lost that much weight you would be underweight for you height.

Here's my story I started talking to a (20 year old) male that lives on the West Coast where as I am (23 years old) on the East Coast. How long should it take for me to trust my husband again?

My husband and I have been married for only 9 months and earlier on in our marriage he made some foolish mistakes which in turn made me feel like I cannot trust him. He lied to me about going to see a female who claimed she got pregnant by him (the jury is still out on whether or not it's his) when he went down there. And in the early months of our marriage, he continued conversations with a certain female online who lived in the same city as we do (who consequently he met on the plane ride back from his weekend with the other girl who says she was pregnant). They talked about seeing each other and he went so far as to refer to me as his girlfriend and was saying that he didn't think things would work out between us. I looked at then times the emails were sent and it was while I was asleep in our bed pregnant with our child; at 4 something in the morning, he thought of this chick to email her. After that was handled, there was another situation when we were in the bedroom and his cell phone rang. He looked at it for a while and said he didn't know who it was I asked him if it was a blocked number and he said yes. Later that night I looked in his call log and saw that the call was actually from some female that was saved in his phone book. He claimed they were friends, but because he lied to me and couldn't answer the phone and talk to her with me sitting there, I figured there was more to it. I later found out that they dated in the past. I told him that I didn't want him talking to her anymore which he didn't respect my wishes at first. He continued talking to her and she continued to say inappropriate things about how she misses him so much and she wonders what her life would be like if they had never split up. I saw these messages and told him to end it now, which he did (but the hard headed girl still tries to contact him). And recently, he reconnected with another girl who was only a cut buddy ( call). I saw no reason fo him to be talking to her now that he's married and why try to be friends NOW? I tried to go in his email and see just what it was that they had to talk about but he had already deleted them and for some reason he couldn't recover them (he was able to recover my email from moths ago but mysteriously he couldn't recover his). My trust for him is at rock bottom when it comes to him and females. I check his phone and emails regularly which he gets mad at me for but given what has happened I feel is justified because I know he's not going to just come out and tell me if he's talking to anyone else. And in all but one of those cases the females found out he was married when I told them. He hasn't done anything physically with them, but I feel that what he has done was just as bad. So, I would just like to know how long will it take for me to trust him again. And this is just another question to put out there for married men and women: are you okay with your spouse contacting their ex while you are married? I say while you're married as in they didn't talk to them as friends before you got married but they talk to them now that you're married. Please help, I love my husband dearly and I want our marriage to work. Despite what this may make him look like he is a good man. These things happened early in our marriage and he has admitted to his wrongdoing and moved past it.

My bank cashed a check on account that was closed for 5 months. Now I'm responsible for funds. Advice?

I was recently scammed. An x-friend business affiliate wrote a check for $10,000.00, deposited into my Chase account on 9/12. Check came from another Chase account. Next day, 9/13, I went to my local branch, asked teller if he could confirm the funds were in that account since it was Chase to Chase. I was then given cash in 100s. Then told the check was written from an account that had been closed for 5 MONTHS!!! X-friend vanished, of course to avoid a possible lynching. Chase's Fraud Investigation says even if teller was careless, the bank's system should have flagged this check. I'm then told that the Chase check came from what was formerly WAMU and they are still being converted to Chase therefore the system may not have picked up on it and it "slipped through the cracks." They are insisting that I pay the full negative balance of $8,000.00 to avoid CheckSystems and having my credit ruined. They have not agreed to absorb the cost because ultimately I took the money and am responsible. I've filed criminal charges with City's DA against this person. If he is not caught, I am still responsible for the money. Didn't Chase's mistake cause me $10K? Aren't they also to blame? Any advice? Mine is to be careful WITH ANY Chase to Chase or WAMU transactions for now. Can someone please tell if I have a chance? Should I Chase what matters?

What happens when you go to see a doctor for fertility issues?

I've never had periods that followed a cycle (except when I was on birth control). Back in 2002 I had a 6 week (very light) period. I went to the gynecologist and she found everything was normal, except i had high levels of prolactin in my blood. She prescribed Yasmin 28 (birth control) to help regulate my periods. She said it wasn't a big deal except that if I ever wanted to have children I might have to take a drug to stimulate ovulation. At the time, children were not on my mind so I didn't worry about it. Now that my husband and I are TTC. I finished my last pack of BC mid May and had a 31 day cycle before my period showed up in mid June. That was my last period 48 days ago. I was also watching my CM and it hasn't ever be EW consistency. So, I made an appointment with the gynecologist for the end of August to get everything checked out. My question is for anyone who actually works in the medical field or has had fertility issues due to hyperprolactin. What do you think will happen next? If you did not ovulate on your own, how did the doctor find this out? What did you have to do before you were able to begin fertility treatments? What was the process of your fertility treatments? I am hoping that my doctor will see my hormone levels and prescribe clomid or something fairly soon, but I am worried she'll make me chart for a few months first. I am worried about not being taken seriously at the doctor's office and being dismissed as an overacting female. If there is anyone who was in a similar situation, I'd love to hear from you. I hate sitting in Exam rooms? Help?!?

i know exactly what you are going through - i was in the same boat 3 years ago! when you revise try and do it some place quiet so you get used to the fact that there is no noise. and try to replicate the surrounding, try to revise on a small table etc then you wil be used to it. when you first get in the exam room make sure you are comfortable so you don't have to move your chair but if you do need to move try and just move yourself and not your chair - that's what i used to do. put both hands on the chair seat and lift yourself up and move that way - then there's no noise! as for the cough, take some polos in with you, it will calm your cough and it's food so will stop your tummy rumbling! with the tummy rumbling thing try not to think about it. the more you think the more likely it will happen. just make sure you have a big breakfast/lunch and you will be fine! There is actually a condition called Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome which with your irregular menstrual cycles may be a possibility. I have PC-OS and once diagnosed was placed on a diabetes medication called glucophage (generic name metformin) which not only helped greatly with the cysts but also regulated my menstrual cycle so that it was normal flow and for the normal amount of days. Prior to that I would have very heavy flow for close to a month, severe cramping and all the other fun things that come with it. Basically....talk to your gyne. about your concerns and if he/she doesn't check them out...switch to a new one who is willing to do some investigative work.

Williams is going to be good this year, and Smith should be too. The second one would probably be a good bet. I think Westbrook is going to have a stellar year, so filling up your RB slots with Westbrook and Williams probably isn't a bad idea. If he won't take Benson instaed, I would still take it because you could easily throw Hester in there.

I'm getting the Canon 7D very soon, and I really want a new lens too. Should I get the Tamron 17-50mm or the Sigma 10-22mm? Here's an inventory of the lenses I have: 18-55mm, 28-135mm, and a 50mm. Showing Cattle.Purebred(Hereford).?

Im thinking of entering one of out calves this year in the fair. I have never shown before but think this calf is an exceptional prospect. She was born in 2009, and is a purebred hereford. She was small since she is a twin to a bull calf, making her sterile so she will not be a breeder. So will that put a dent in anything since she can't be bred? She has a fully white face and is a beautiful caramel-reddish colour. Im wanting to enter her so i need to halter break her. Ok. I have been having abdominal cramps on and off now for about three weeks. I had light back pain and nausea and have been to three different ER'S. They all tell me the only thing wrong is I have a UTI [Urinary Tract Infection] I knew that already because I always get them but never have symptoms of it. Anyhow I think something else is going on here and even my dr said I do not have a UTI and did a ultreasound on my gall bladder. They seen nothing and did cat scans on my belly at hospital and also they seen nothing. Has anyone else had pain like this and found out later on there was in fact something? Right now I feel like total crap. I am on my period but feels like I have the flu but thats all normal I guess being on your period. Someone please help. I feel like complete crap and I just want these damn hospitals to do something for me instead of always sending me home. Also bladder problems run in my family such has bladder disease and etc.

How do I fix a faucet (I'm new at this do-it-yourself stuff)?

My shower faucet doesn't leak when the water is off, but when I turn it on (for a shower) some of the water is going down to where the bathtub spout is instead of through the shower head. I have the "shower lever" pulled up all the way, but a lot of water is still going down through the bathtub faucet (where it comes out for a bath.) I have recently been contacted about a craigslist ad that I posted. A man named Timothy Blair from AFPRINT FABRICS & TEXTILES asked me to be a U.S. representative for his company. They are supposedly based in England. All I had to do was receive checks from people stateside, keep 10%, and mail the rest to wherever I was told to mail it. I received my 1st check for $3,600.00. I was told to mail $3,000.00 to Africa, by Western Union, and await instructions for the rest (after my 10% was deducted). Is this legit? I just don't see how they can give away so much money! I looked for the name and address of the "person" who sent me the check (by UPS, by the way). But, I found a different person living at that address. Can someone help me? Has anyone else run across this, or do you have any advice???

Hi. I'm really annoyed and need some help please. I've been a customer of BMW's for over 4 years and have taken cars on personal lease contracts throughout this time. I have never ever missed a payment. My car went back on September 7th then I started a new 2 year agreement with another car again with BMW. Yesterday I got my monthly credit report and it has been slashed from 999 to 512, due to a late payment posted by BMW. I went ballistic and have since found out that this is an excess mileage charge relating to the car I returned on the 7th September. On speaking to BMW today they say they called me 3 times during September albeit to an old mobile number of mine and posted an invoice to my home address. I obviously did not get any of their calls and I did not get the invoice. I asked isn't it normal procedure to send out a reminder or a warning letter and they said no. Consequently they will not pull the late payment posting from my report and I now have to live with it until such times it fades out of the report. Is there no way I can contest this? I detested their flippant attitude on the phone to me, they didn't give a toss. If I didn't have an early termination fee on my new car I'd take it back and go elsewhere for a new car. I think it is disgraceful that they should treat a customer who has never missed a single payment before like this, and in particular when they were calling an old number of mine.....which they acknowledged when I gave them my correct number during the security check on the phone.
